Why are payees receiving funds in a different currency than the payment currency?

The payee is being paid in the currency that they selected to by paid in (via the Supplier Hub/ iFrame).

Did you know?

• If the currency of your payment order is the same as your account currency, but differs from the payee’s selected currency, then the payee is charged an FX conversion fee (e.g., account currency = USD, payment order currency = USD, payee’s preferred currency = EUR).
• If the currency of your payment order differs from your account currency, but is the same as the payee’s preferred currency, then you are charged an FX conversion fee (e.g., account currency = USD, payment order currency = EUR, payee’s preferred currency = EUR).
• If the currency of your payment order differs from your account currency and the payee’s preferred currency, both you and the payee are charged an FX conversion fee (e.g., account currency = USD, payment order currency = EUR, payee’s preferred currency = USD)
